Yes, my grand piano--well, it belongs to my parents, but they bought it for me, though, yeah. I call it "buddy" ever since I could talk, because it's just that. My friend. It went through the good, the bad and the ugly with me, and it gave me my music. It's the first instrument I learned how to play, and it will always be my favorite.

My nickname's Cookie, hence the lj.

How I got it, well, when we still lived in Germany, the mother of a friend of my older sister had this huge drawer just for sweets and candy and the like. And there were cookies there, too. Now three guesses as to who always sneaked in there after dark when we were spending the night at their home and stole the cookies. *nods* *points at self* Yup, that's right. Me.

The nickname stuck, kinda.

But you should ask chocolate84 about her nickname and how she got it. Now THAT is an interesting story, believe me! :D
